Quante volte l’avete fissata? Quante volte io stesso l’ho fissata? Quante volte l’avete usata come scusa per mandare un messaggio alla persona che vi piace? Se siete degli artisti quante volte vi ha ispirato?
Quante volte l’avete ritrovata in un brano o in una scena di un film? Quanti l’hanno dipinta o tatuata sulla propria pelle? Quanto vorreste camminarci sopra?
Eppure ci siamo arrivati lì sopra! Lo “Step on The Moon” l’abbiamo fatto sul serio proprio il 20 luglio 1969 con la splendida frase di Neil Armstrong scrivendo la storia.
Di brani su di lei ne sono stati scritti tantissimi, ma proviamo a sceglierne 10 + 5 che ci facciano realmente volare chiudendo gli occhi e ballando in silenzio mentre nessuno ci guarda.
“Fly Me to the Moon” fu pubblicata nel 1964 su It Might Be Swing e la canzone originariamente fu scritta da Bart Howard ed è conosciuta anche con il titolo di “In Other Words.”

“Harvest Moon” è di Neil Young del 1992 dall’omonimo album.

Il brano di Billie Holiday – Blue Moon, invece,
è stato scritto da da Richard Rodgers e Lorenz Hart
nel 1954.
